Today, felt as warm as many a summer day. Pretty odd for mid-February! Must have been getting on for 15C and the water was warm as well. Just as well since the warmth was courtesy of a steady F6 southerly with more vigorous gusts.
Too tiring to go far, we played in the waves, paddling upwind and uptide and surfing back. Exhaustion set in after 2 hours, nice to go out and get wet.
No pictures of the surfing back which was stop-go, a breaking wave from the side, a breaking wave from behind type of paddling. Even taking pictures on the upwind leg was wobbly enough.
