First up the Zephyr 480, a stable 'beginner' style boat, available with rudder or skeg, not very exciting, but then it is not meant to be. No discernible vices either.
Angmagssalik about it, almost a square box section in the centre, but faired at the ends, chines very very sharp, more rocker than the Angmagssalik, so it turns surprisingly well. Fantastic secondary stability, it just paddles along on edge with the cockpit rim under water. Very fast. Despite the high foredeck I wasn't scrapping my knuckles. I thought that I'd hate this boat, but I have to say I enjoyed paddling it.
