Paddles with an Anas acuta...... unashamedly biased toward the sea kayak of that name (actually the voyages of two boats, one 'traffic over gold', one 'quill')

In the Shops.

A labour of love combining two of my favourites, sea kayaking and the French language. I even let it cut into my paddling time in the autumn. Catching up for lost time, you will find me not a million miles from the west coast of Scotland now that it is in the shops.

Surfing at the weekend

Liz and Steve catching a wave in overcast conditions, not to say lashing rain,
 but where is it?
The headland gives it away  -Rhossili and the Worm's Head.
Exhausted and in any case the wave had gone.
The author in heroic pose! left high and dry as the tide shot out.
